Arrive at Kochi airport and drive about 4 hours up the Western Ghats to Munnar, stopping at the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 2 Munnar Tea Gardens and EravikulamMunnar, Kerala, India
Visit a tea factory and the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Eravikulam National Park for the Nilgiri tahr. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady and Spice PlantationThekkady, Kerala, India
Drive to Thekkady (about 4 hours) and tour a spice plantation, with an evening Kathakali or Kalaripayattu show. Overnight in Thekkady.
Day 4 Periyar Boat Ride and Alleppey HouseboatAlleppey, Kerala, India
An early boat ride on Periyar Lake for wildlife, then drive to Alleppey and board your houseboat at noon for a cruise through the backwaters. Overnight on the houseboat.
Day 5 Alleppey to Kochi City TourKochi, Kerala, India
Disembark after breakfast and drive to Kochi to see Fort Kochi, the Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace and the Jewish Synagogue. Overnight in Kochi.
Day 6 DepartureKochi, Kerala, India
After breakfast, transfer to Kochi airport for your onward journey.
